SELLERS INSIGHT We have lived in the house for just over 10 years and it has been great to us, when we first brought the property it was very dated so year by year we have renovated it to a very modern standard. The house has a very homely feeling to it and minimal work is required, we also added the lodge at the top of the garden which can be used for just about anything. The next job for us was putting a drive in out the front but we have decided to move instead, we have debated on moving many times as we love the house how it is but we wish to keep climbing the ladder.
STEP INSIDE Stepping into the bright and spacious entrance hall, there are two uPVC double glazed windows to the front, a useful storage cupboard with hanging for coats and doors to the kitchen/diner and living room. Stairs ascend to the first floor.
The living room is a lovely bright and cosy space with a large uPVC double glazed window overlooking the well maintained rear garden. There is a slate hearth which accommodates an electric fire and makes a nice focal point in the room. It is worth noting that the original chimney is capped and there is capacity to install a log burner in this room.
The beautiful kitchen/diner is of generous proportion with a bay window in the dining area allowing lots of natural light to fill the room. The kitchen is fitted with cream base and wall units with worktop and tiled splash backs. There is an integrated electric oven with four ring hob and extractor above, integrated fridge and freezer and integrated washing machine. A breakfast counter with seating naturally divides the areas. A half glazed door gives access to the rear garden.
Ascending the stairs to the first floor, a window fills the landing with light. There is access to the partly boarded loft, a useful storage cupboard which also houses the Vaillant boiler.
Two good sized double bedrooms overlook the front of the property both of which have storage with shelving. A further bedroom overlooks the rear garden.
The modern family bathroom is fully tiled and fitted with ceiling spotlights and led feature lighting. It has a double ended bath with Mira shower over and screen, wash hand basin inset in vanity with drawers and storage below and concealed cistern low level dual flush WC.
STEP OUTSIDE The front of the property is approached by a pathway with gentle steps. There is a level laid to loose stone and a further level again laid to loose stone with paving. There is a pathway the width of the property and a side path shared with the neighbouring property gives access to the rear garden.
The rear garden is beautifully landscaped in decked terraces with seating areas at each level. There is a large brick store with light and power and decked steps with handrail lead up to the decked terraces.
A real delight in this garden is the bespoke outbuilding which sits across the width of the garden on the upper level. It is extremely comfortable and fully insulated with light and power. A great extra room for entertaining or for use an office, gym etc
